AID for AIDS
AID for AIDS is a New York-based nonprofit organization that collects unused, HIV-related medications and redistributes them to people living with AIDS in Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America. In existence since 1996, AID for AIDS now operates the largest "drug recycling" program in the United States. It also works with healthcare officials and community-based organizations in those regions to help improve care for HIV-positive people.
